Tainted Love

Lennon sighed and swore quietly. "Sorry..." He said, hugging Monte again.

"We should get those cleaned and bandaged...before they end up like the others," Monte mumbled.

"Oh, yeah..." Lennon said, moving to grab the stuff Sammy had bought in to do so.

Sammy knocked lightly on the office door. "Bear?"

Adam didn't answer when he heard Sammy. He'd thrown everything that was on his desk onto the floor, except for the photos, which remained on the desk. He was sitting on the floor, his back against the wall with his head in his hands.

Sammy slowly approached Adam.

Adam didn't notice Sammy and accidentally let out a sob, making it obvious he was crying.

Sammy knelt down in front of him. "Bear?"

"S-Sammy..." Adam said quietly, inbetween sobs.

Sammy wrapped her arms around him.

Adam leaned against Sammy, wrapping his arms around her neck as he sobbed.

"Shhhhhh shhhhhhh," Sammy soothed gently.

Adam shook his head. "I...I'm just as bad as she is..."

"No baby no," said Sammy. "Why would you ever think that?"

"I....I hit him....." Adam said, sobbing again.

Sammy sighed softly. "You lost your temper baby, he knows you didn't mean it."

"Does he?" Adam asked, sniffing. "He...he was terrified Sammy..."

"He knows baby, he knows," said Sammy. "I'm sure he and Lennon have talked about it."

"He's been through enough already..." Adam said quietly. "He doesn't need me adding to it..."

"You didn't mean what happened," said Sammy "Neither did he."

"Still did it..." Adam mumbled.

"He'll forgive you," Sammy told him.

"What if he doesn't....?" Adam worried. "What if he thinks...?" He trailed off as more tears escaped.

"Addy he'll forgive you," said Sammy.

"I hope so..." Adam said sadly.
