Tainted Love

"But I..." Adam said, stopping when he couldn't actually think of an excuse.

"Please Addy....for me?" said Sammy.

"Okay..." Adam said softly, leaning closer to kiss Sammy.

Sammy kissed Adam back.

Adam wrapped his arms tight around Sammy's waist as he kissed her.

Sammy pulled back when she noticed a shadow in the doorway. It was Monte. "Bradley's hurt..." he said, tears in his eyes. "His dad found his phone.....our texts....he beat him....he's in the hospital..."

Adam swore quietly, slowly going over to Monte. He gently pulled him into a hug, hoping he wouldn't scare him after earlier.

"His sister Kayla texted me, Monte sniffled. "I need to go see him...please.."

"Okay." Adam nodded. "We'll go."

Monte nodded. "Kayla said she'd be waiting for me, show she could take me to him."

Adam nodded again, slowly letting Monte go. "Go get ready then." He told him. "...where's Lennon?"

"In my room, cleaning up the papers and stuff from...." Monte paused "from cleaning my arm."

"Oh, right." Adam said. "...I...I'm sorry about earlier..." He added quietly.

"So am I." said Monte.

Adam gave a small smile, quickly hugging Monte again before moving passed him to go get ready to leave.

Monte hurried back to his room.

Lennon jumped slightly when Monte suddenly reappeared in the room, accidentally dropping his phone.

Adam went to his and Sammy's bedroom to get a coat.

"It's just me Len," said Monte. "Just me."

Lennon nodded slowly and moved to pick up his phone.

"Didn't mean to scare you," said Monte

"I know, it's not your fault." Lennon said, getting up to hug Monte.

Monte hugged Lennon back. "We gotta hurry up."

Lennon nodded. "Are you ready?" He asked.

Monte nodded. "Yeah."

"So we're waiting on mum & dad then?" Lennon asked.
