A Family Affair

Lennon smirked. "Is it really worth it though...?"

"I dunno," Sammy grinned. "Is it?"

Lennon shrugged his shoulders. "We'll never know if we don't try it..." He chuckled.

Sammy nodded. "You're telling him he has to go."

Lennon nodded, hugging Sammy again before opening the door to go back in.

Sammy followed behind him.

"Everything okay?" Adam asked when they came back, using the childish tone again.

Sammy glanced over at Lennon.

"We decided you have to see a doctor." Lennon told Adam, trying not to laugh at the look on Adam's face before he hid under the blankets.

Monte moved closer to Adam, trying to calm him down.

"I don't wanna go..." Adam whined, clinging to Monte.

"I know, I know," said Monte. "I know."

"Don't let them take me..." Adam mumbled to him.

"You have to though....." said Monte.

"Do I really...?" Adam asked, moving the blankets to pout at Sammy.

Sammy nodded. "Yeah sweetie."

Adam sighed, pouting more as he held his arms out. "I need hugs then..."

Sammy moved over to the bed and sat down next to him. "C'mere sweetie."

Adam grinned, curling up against Sammy. "Love you..." he mumbled, refusing to call her 'mama' even if it was part of the game.

Sammy smiled. "Love you too, love you very much."

Adam chuckled, sticking his tongue out when Lennon rolled his eyes.

Sammy ran a hand through Adam's hair

"We have to take him to get looked at..." Lennon said, hoping they'd move before the two forgot they were meant to be playing a game.

"I know, I know," said Sammy. "Give him time to calm down first."

"I don't wanna go...." Adam whined, burying his face against Sammy's shoulder.
