A Family Affair

Adam nodded, closing his eyes again.

They stayed in the living room for a while, before Sammy decided they'd been 'driving' long enough. "We're here."

Adam shifted slightly and groaned, still pretending to be asleep.

"Now the hard part..." Lennon said, rolling his eyes when he looked at Adam.

Sammy nodded, turning around to shake Adam gently. "Adam, sweetie, wake up."

Adam groaned quietly as he opened his eyes, looking at Sammy. "Oh...we are?" He asked.

Sammy nodded. "Uh huh."

Adam nodded, yawning as he slowly sat up.

"Have a nice nap?" Sammy asked.

Adam nodded, pouting after a few seconds.

Sammy kissed his forehead.

Adam gave a small smile before looking fightened.

"It's okay sweetie," said Sammy gently. "It's alright."

"But I don't wanne go in..." Adam mumbled childishly.

"Adam, honey you have to," said Sammy.

Adam groaned, burying his face against Monte's shoulder.

"It's okay," said Monte. "I'll be right there, promise."

"Kay..." Adam said quietly, slowly lifting his head.

Monte hugged Adam.

Adam smiled and hugged him back before looking at Sammy and Lennon.
"You ready now...?" Lennon asked, smiling when Adam nodded.

Sammy smiled, slowly standing up.

Adam watched as Sammy got up, hugging Monte tight.

Monte hugged Adam back. "C'mon."

Adam nodded and got up, going over to hug Lennon once they were both standing.

Sammy watched and smiled

Lennon grinned, hugging Adam back, slipping out of character as he clung to Adam.
