The Past is Another Land

Lennon barely realised he'd been describing what had happened to him and Monte as he'd relived it, trailing off when he reached the part where he'd realised Cybele had done it to Adam too, not knowing if Adam himself had ever even admitted it.
He put his hands over his mouth out of habit once he'd stopped talking, tears silently falling.

Monte pulled Lennon close, hugging him tightly.

Lennon leaned against Monte, shaking slightly as he cried.

Adam hung his head and stared down at the floor, nervously biting his lip.

"Shhhhh," Monte whispered. "It's okay, it's okay." Sammy wrapped her arms around Adam again.

"No...no it's not..." Lennon mumbled. "Still have scars from when they've done it..."

"She's...done it to me too...." Adam said quietly, not looking up.

Monte looked up for a moment, surprised Adam admitted to it.

Lennon lifted his head, staring at Adam.

Adam didn't say anything, gone quiet again.

Sammy kissed Adam's cheek. "I'm proud of you," she glanced over at the boys. "I'm proud of all three of you."

Lennon gave a small smile, sniffing and wiping his eyes.

Adam just gave a small nod.

Sammy rubbed Adam's back. "It takes a lot of strength, and a lot of courage to do what you've done today."

"I...know..." Adam eventually muttered, still staring at the floor.

"Adam, talk to me," said Sammy. "Help me understand what's going on in that crazy little head of yours."

"Just..." Adam said, trailing off and groaning instead, putting his head in his hands.

Sammy continued rubbing Adam's back.

"I...don't wanna do this anymore..." Adam said, suddenly sobbing.

Sammy pulled Adam close. "Shhhhh shhhh baby shhhh."

"I-I can't...I....can't do it anymore..." Adam stuttered as he sobbed.

Elliot got up and opened another door in the room, which lead to a smaller room. "You two can go in there and talk if you want, give him time to calm down." Sammy nodded. "C'mon honey, okay?"
