Fortune Favors The Brave

Kiara continued to sleep.

Justin shifted slightly, moving to push the blanket off himself.

Kiara, being in a deep sleep, was unaware of this.

Justin shifted again and put his arms back around Kiara, leaning his head against hers.

Kiara mumbled in her sleep, but did not wake.

Justin pulled a face, shifting again before falling back asleep.

Kiara woke a few hours later

Justin was facing away from Kiara, still asleep.

Kiara slowly got up, trying not to wake him.

Once Kiara got up, Justin rolled over in his sleep, pushing the blanket off the couch completely.

Kiara went into the kitchen.

Justin laid on his back, one arm hanging over the edge of the couch.

Kiara smiled when she came back in the room, sitting down in a chair.

Justin groaned a few minutes later as he started to stir.

Kiara glanced over when she heard the noise

Justin rolled onto his side, mumbling something.

Kiara sat, watching him.

"Too warm..." Justin groaned.

Kiara sighed. "Fever must've gone up..."

Justin smiled slightly. "I'm just too hot..." He mumbled.

Kiara moved to kneel next to the couch, running a ran through Justin's hair.

Justin whimpered, curling up slightly.

"Shhhhh," Kiara soothed.

"But it's hot..." Justin whined.

"I know, I know," said Kiara gently.
