Tainted Love

Adam frowned and nodded, walking over to them, gently shaking Lennon's shoulder. "Come on Len, you've gotta get up." He said before looking at Sammy and speaking softly to her. "Go get Monte."

Sammy nodded, hurrying up the stairs, bringing a very worried Monte back down with her.

Adam had managed to get Lennon to his feet when Sammy came back with Monte, though Adam had an arm around Lennon to hold him up.

Monte hurried to his brother's side. "Len?"

Lennon jumped at Monte's suddenly movement, whimpering quietly.

"It's just me Len," said Monte softly. "It's me."

"Hmm?" Lennon said, looking confused, slowly being affected by the drug Lennon still had no idea Trevor had injected into him.

"You okay?" Monte asked while Sammy grabbed the keys

"Yes." Lennon said, looking as if he was annoyed that he was being made to stand.

Sammy headed toward the door. "C'mon."

Adam nodded, gently leading Lennon out to the car.

Monte followed the others.

"Who's driving?" Adam asked Sammy once Lennon was in the car.

Sammy tossed Adam the keys. "You."

"Thought so." Adam chuckled as he caught them, getting into the car.

Lennon leaned his head against the window, hoping no one would notice him close his eyes.

Monte got in, carefully pulling Lennon so he as resting against him. "No Len," he said. "You'll go to sleep, and you can't do that right now."

Lennon made an annoyed sound and folded his arms, sulking for a minute, then relaxed against Monte anyway.

"If you fall asleep, something bad could happen," said Monte. "I don't want that."

"But I'm tired and..." Lennon said, trailing off and mumbling the rest, closing his eyes again.

"No Len," said Monte, shaking him gently.

Lennon didn't respond besides groaning quietly, only taking small breaths.

"Stay with us Lennon," said Sammy. "C'mon now."

Lennon slowly unfolded his arms, letting them just drop, mumbling quietly.

Monte noticed a large bruise on Lennon's arm, and ran a finger over it

Lennon jumped awake as Monte touched it. "Ow!" He said, going to pull his arm away out of habit.
