Catch Me, I'm Falling

Sammy relaxed at the gentle touch.

"I won't let anyone hurt you, or the boys again..." Adam said quietly as he stroked her hair.

"I'm the one that's supposed to be saying that," said Sammy with a light chuckle.

"No, you've been hurt before too..." Adam said quietly. "But I guess you can still say it anyway..." He added, chuckling.

"Not nearly as badly as you three have," said Sammy.

"You still have been..." Adam said, frowning.

"I know," Sammy sighed.

Adam pulled Sammy closer against him, humming quietly.

Sammy closed her eyes.

Adam continued humming quietly, stroking Sammy's hair.

Sammy slowly drifted off

Adam smiled, gently kissing Sammy's head and running his fingers through her hair, eventually falling asleep as well.

Monte sat in Lennon's room, now sitting on his brother's bed, playing with his hair.

Lennon was half asleep, curled up beside Monte.

Monte smiled, watching him.

Lennon slowly moved a hand, reaching to scratch the hives on his neck.

Monte grabbed Lennon's hand. "No Len."

Lennon whimpered and pulled a face, annoyed that he'd been stopped.

Monte hugged Lennon close.

"Don't like it." Lennon said, clinging to Monte to stop himself scratching.

"I know," said Monte. "Don't like it either."

"When's it gonna stop?" Lennon asked, whining.

"Hopefully soon Len," said Monte.

"Good." Lennon said, moving to lie his head on Monte's lap.

Monte smiled. "Comfy?"
