Catch Me, I'm Falling

"Oh right...yeah." Gabriel said, shaking his head at himself.

Sammy nodded. "I can't really be of much help, but I can get Adam to help you out."

"Okay..." Gabriel said, slowly moving to sit back down.

Sammy went to go get Adam.

Adam was only just waking up, barely even remembering that he and Sammy had woken up during the night to go up to bed. He yawned and stretched, sitting up.

"Adam," said Sammy. "I need your help."

"With...?" Adam asked, yawning, still half asleep.

"Gabriel," said Sammy.

"Oh...what about him?" Adam asked as he got out of bed, moving to hug Sammy.

Sammy hugged Adam. "He's trying to get out of bed, but he can't stand on that foot."

Adam nodded, kissing Sammy's head before going to help.

Sammy followed

Adam went to Gabriel, ending up picking him up, carrying the teen like he had when he'd first carried him inside.

Sammy smiled, watching the two.

"You don't need to carry me..." Gabriel mumbled, embarrassed. "I can stay here, I'm not hungry..."

"Gabriel, we talked about this," said Sammy. "You need to eat."

"I don't need to, I'm fine." Gabriel whined, being stubborn to cover up the fact that he was embarrassed.

"You need to," said Sammy.

Gabriel made an irritated sound, Adam freezing when he realised how much it sounded like Monte and Lennon.

Sammy chuckled softly, but stopped, watching Adam.

Adam frowned, but shook his head after a second and kept walking.

Sammy followed, stopping by Lennon's door and peaking her head in.

"Mama?" Lennon said, smiling then rubbing his eyes.

Sammy smiled, walking into the room. "Hey sweetie."

Lennon smiled, holding his arms out for a hug.
